Brightly colored pebble theory.

Wed Aug 26, 2009, 5:38 AM
If you can get your reader to laugh or cry or be furious with you, then mission accomplished. Something Harlan Ellison once said sticks in my mind "You want to take your reader into an alley and beat them with a baseball bat".
He was right.
Plotting things now. I have been getting that monster cache of "Brightly colored pebbles" together for a long time. Over the past week, I have dumping out the bag and starting to sift and arrange the pebbles. The first Arc will sprawl to probably two hundred pages. Oddly enough, the words will come last on this.
So much to do....

  • Listening to: Tangerine Dream-Optical Race
  • Reading: Kabuki
  • Watching: The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
  • Playing: No gaming, I'd get nothing done
  • Eating: No Drive through
  • Drinking: I Recommend Knob Creek

';Preciate the compliment.....Dude, I have told you before, you are one of my Demigods. I have followed you since the Zeck Punisher days and it dropped my jaw when you were inking over Guice's stuff on Terminator: Endgame. I don't know if you can spot it but there's a LOT of you in what I do. Try as I might, i could never manage that "Machined" precision you could though.

Hello Mr. Waller! I've been a huge fan of your work since your Ruins of Undermountain material for TSR. I'm currently working on a fan project expansion for Undermountain and I would love to commission the art from you. I went to your website but the email address is no longer working. Do you still do commissions?

Ahhh you finally read the obnoxious message on yer page. I was beginning to fear you'd never find it and thus never be insulted! The things I stress over.
